Use a fresh cloth dampened with the mix and gently blot the stain, moving in an outward-to-inward motion. Then, rinse the area by dabbing with a cloth dampened with plain water, and blot dry with a clean towel.

If the stain persists, consider using isopropyl alcohol, which works well on many ink types. Moisten a cotton ball or soft cloth with rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol, at least 70% concentration). Check for colorfastness beforehand to ensure it won’t fade or damage the fabric. Blot repeatedly as the ink transfers to avoid redistributing the ink. Once the stain lifts, wipe the area with a damp cloth and allow it to dry completely.

For fabrics marked "S" (solvent-safe), consider a commercial dry-cleaning fluid. Adhere to label directions precisely and ensure the room is properly aired out. Apply a small amount to a clean cloth and press softly onto the mark. Never apply solvent directly to the fabric.

Steer clear of harsh chemicals like bleach, as these can permanently harm the upholstery. Additionally, avoid applying heat to speed drying, since heat can make removal impossible later.

If the ink remains after home remedies, or if the fabric is luxurious, fragile, or vintage, seek help from a certified technician. They possess specialized tools and safe solvents that can remove stains from matress ink without damaging the material.
